Dr. Michael Heinrich

Dr. Michael Heinrich was born in Hanau in 1965. He studied law and business administration in Frankfurt am Main. After completion of his studies, Dr. Michael Heinrich worked as a scientific assistant at the Institute for Commercial and Civil Law at the Frankfurt University. Since his admission as a lawyer in 1995, Dr. Michael Heinrich has been active in the field of intellectual property rights. He started his professional career in one of the big international law firms and subsequently joined a medium-sized law firm specialising in IP. In 1999 he founded the law firm HEINRICH PARTNER RECHTSANWÄLTE. His special focus is on trademark and competition law as well as patent and utility model law. He has special expertise in contract design, in particular with regard to license and distribution agreements as well as agreements in the field of research and development. Dr. Michael Heinrich is an accredited specialist for intellectual property law, a certified data protection officer, a member of the GRUR and author of various professional publications on IP. According to the survey kanzleimonitor.de, conducted by the Federal Association of Corporate Counsels (BJU) in 2016, Dr. Michael Heinrich ranks among the lawyers particularly often recommended throughout German for matters relating to intellectual property law.

Wolfgang R. Wentzel

Wolfgang R. Wentzel was born in Merenberg in 1953 and from the first year of his life until 1966 lived in Edmonton, the capital city of the Province of Alberta in Canada. By attending schools in Edmonton, he acquired the English language as a „native speaker“. He studied English and Law at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen. His enthusiasm for languages and technology quickly earned him responsible jobs in the area of intellectual property rights for major international corporations. In over 3 decades in management positions, he gained very valuable experience in the strategic creation, defence and licensing of technical and non-technical property rights. His comprehensive expertise especially includes developing and establishing international trademark protection concepts, and he has top-class global contacts in this sector. Over decades, Wolfgang R. Wentzel represented the interests of his corporations in the area of intellectual property rights in several associations, and could also provide constructive support in legal policy matters in this area, for example in leading positions on committees of the trademark association.
